Family-Friendly Adventure at Blue HouseDuring our family vacation in Quito, we stayed at Blue House Youth Hostel, which proved to be a great base for our explorations. Nestled in the heart of La Mariscal, we loved the vibrant atmosphere this location offered. We embarked on a thrilling downhill bike ride to the largest lagoon in the nearby park, where we discovered fascinating flora. My kids thoroughly enjoyed the canopy experience with its 13 ziplines, fostering a spirit of adventure in them. While the hostel's amenities could improve, particularly in dining options and room sizes, the hospitality from the staff, especially Leonor and Andrés, created a welcoming environment. Our stay offered us valuable family memories and a taste of adventure. I recommend it for active families looking for budget-friendly options.
